Client portal software: documents, forms, messages, and payments
Evaluate client and patient portals for secure forms, document exchange, messaging, payment collection, signatures, and mobile access.
Security and permissions are part of the product. Ask about audit trails, role access, document retention, exports, two-factor authentication, notifications, and how users are removed when they leave a firm or clinic.
The portal should feel like one workflow, not a separate inbox. If staff still copy documents, payments, or notes back into the main system, the portal may create a polished client experience while adding hidden office work.
