How to choose software for a one-person service business

A lean software buying framework for solo operators who need bookings, payments, follow-up, and records.

Solo operators need software that saves time immediately. Prioritize a clean booking path, simple customer records, payment collection, reminders, and a calendar that works on the device you use every day.

Avoid paying for enterprise workflows before you need them. Advanced reporting, multiple roles, complex permissions, and automation suites may be useful later, but only after the core job path is stable.

Choose a system you can maintain. If setup requires days of configuration or every small change needs support, the subscription may create more admin than it removes.
