How to run a quarterly software stack review
A 45-minute process to control duplicate subscriptions, unused tools, and data risk.
For each product, ask whether it is used weekly, whether another system already performs the same task, and what happens if it is removed. Review user permissions, admin accounts, billing contacts, and data exports at the same time.
Finish with decisions, not notes. Cancel unused services, consolidate duplicates, assign owners for essential tools, and schedule any security or integration fixes. A quarterly review prevents hidden cost from growing alongside the business.
